The Oil Creek & Titusville Lines operates a 17-mile shortline providing irregular freight service between Rouseville and Titusville in northwest Pennsylvania. The route is a former Conrail (ex Pennsylvania) branchline purchased in the early 1980s by local interests who formed the Oil Creek Railway Historical Society. This area is prime hardwood lumber territory, as well as a natural gas production area. The shortline provides plastic pellet and wax hauling for Titusville area industries, as well as locomotive servicing and train handling for the popular tourist trains that operate through the Oil Creek State Park. Interchange is with regional hauler Western New York & Pennsylvania Railroad; cars are exchanged north of Oil City, at Rynd Farm. OCTL is associated with nearby New York & Lake Erie Railroad.
