The Jonesboro, Lake City & Eastern Railroad was a timber shortline serving two counties in the northeast corner of Arkansas. Completed at the turn of the century, the line served numerous sawmills until it was purchased by the St. Louis - San Francisco (Frisco) in 1924. Trackage survived as a Frisco branch into the 1970s.
