Currently enjoying a period of growing interest from Colorado families, along with stable, non-profit stewardship, Tiny Town is emerging from the shadow of COVID-19. We hope that will soon be just another footnote in Tiny Town’s history.

ttr_state egyptian iny Town & Railroad in Morrison, Colorado, southwest of Denver, is as a cherished landmark with a long history dating back to its founding in 1915 by Denver businessman George Turner. Originally built as a play area for his daughter, Turner's creation evolved into a beloved regional attraction. In 1939 a riding train was added and the name was changed from Turnerville to Tiny Town. Throughout the years, Tiny Town has undergone expansions and renovations, yet it has retained its quaint charm and nostalgic ambiance. The miniature village now features over 100 custom crafted 1/6 scale buildings, including replicas of historic structures from around Colorado and the United States. Visitors also enjoy rides behind the 15" gauge steam and gasoline locomotives that traverse the miniature landscape over 5/8 of a mile of track. A non-profit Tiny Town Foundation was established in 1989 to operate the park and ensure its future as an attraction, providing homespun entertainment for visitors of all ages.
