PowerRail is a United States locomotive parts and service company, with additional locations in various parts of the world. CEO Paul Foster formed PowerRail in 2003 in Wilke-Barre, Pennsylvania. Today the corporate offices and main distribution center are located in Duryea, Pennsylvania, next to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. The company provides new and re-manufactured parts for the locomotive market, as well as a variety of locmotive maintenance and rebuilding services. PowerRail maintains other locations throughout the United States and Canada, including PowerRail Locomotive Services in Monroe, Georiga, started in 2014. This 17 acre facility offers both locomotive and freight car service including light repair, re-wiring, traction motor and truck work, and engine component change outs. The facility is provided interchange service by the Great Walton Railroad.
