Old Smoky Railway Museum

osrm_state egyptian he Old Smoky Railway Museum is located in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee, on the grounds of the former Southern Railway station. The museum exhibits a small collection of heavyweight and streamlined passenger cars, along with some cabooses. This equipment is displayed along the former passenger walkway of the station, adjacent to Norfolk Southern's idled Knoxville City Yard. The two station buildings, erected in 1903 in a neo-classical revival style and now on the National Register of Historic Places, have been fully renovated and serve as a downtown venue for offices, restaurants, and event rentals.
