Caney Fork & Western Railroad

cfwn_state Since its founding in 1983 the Caney Fork & Western Railroad has operated 61 shortline miles of former Seaboard System trackage from an interchange with CSX Transportation at Tullahoma northeast to McMinnville, Tennessee. Currently the railroad is a subsidiary of shortline operator Ironhorse Resources. Principal commodities include lumber, steel, fertilizer, grain, propane, and carbon black. Shops are maintained at McMinnville.
